Development of transient <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline" id="d1e172" altimg="si45.svg"><mml:mi>μ</mml:mi></mml:math>SR method for high-flux pulsed muons

In order to expand the applicability of muon spin rotation, relaxation, and resonance ($\mu$SR) experiments with pulsed muons make effective use high-flux beam, we have developed a new experimental method ``transient $\mu$SR''. this method, $\mu$SR data for each pulse are tagged external parameters such as temperature magnetic field in real time, allowing sample environment be changed without interrupting collection. As result, continuous measurements under conditions that vary on time scale longer than beam interval (40 ms) realized, efficient utilization is achieved by eliminating lag associated moving between discrete measurement points. The transient was applied study properties cupric oxide (CuO) observation level-crossing relaxation copper, successfully established confirming results reproduce those previous reports.
